This course is an extension of the Workplace Emergency First-Aid & CPR course, with a special focus on giving first-aid to severe injuries. The material is being covered in much more detail to allow for better comprehension and to improve response skills.

The course gives important skills to handle common emergencies in all age levels (adults, children and infants). It is ideal course for both indoor and outdoor based workplaces.

• 2 year certification in Standard First-Aid & CPR Level C

• Includes CPR Level C (CPR information is enhanced to meet specific workplace needs)

• Includes AED certification

• Comprehensive training in first-aid for trauma injuries

Basics concepts on how our body works and how it becomes dysfunctional First-aid for choking
The physiological logic behind CPR and first-aid techniques Sudden medical emergencies:
• Anaphylaxis
• Diabetes
• Fainting
• Epilepsy
• Stroke
The Emergency Medical Services function and how they support you Environmental emergencies:
• Heat strokes
• Dehydration
Basic steps to manage any medical emergency– Check, Call, Care

First-aid for trauma injuries:
• Severe bleeding
• Head and spine injuries
• Bone, muscle and joint injuries
• Burns
• Wound care
